Rights of Chaste Women

A woman without a husband has more right to her person than her guardian, and a virgin's consent must be asked from her, and her silence implies her consent.

I have not left after me any (chance) of turmoil more injurious to men than the harm done to the men because of women.

"A previously married woman has more right to decide about herself (with regard to marriage) than her guardian, and a virgin should be asked for permission with regard to marriage, and her permission ...

"A previously married woman has more right (to decide) about herself (with regard to marriage), and a virgin should be consulted by her father, and her permission is her silence."

“I am not leaving behind me any tribulation that is more harmful to men than women.”
