Kindness is not to be found in anything but that it adds to its beauty and it is not withdrawn from anything but it makes it defective.

Narrated by 'A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:
Sunan Abu Dawud#5145

One of the finest acts of kindness is for a man to treat his father’s friends in a kindly way after he has departed.

Narrated by Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying:

"Whoever is deprived of gentleness, he is deprived of goodness."
