A Warning and Exhortation, the Order to prostrate and to be humble

سُورَةُ النَّجۡمِ
An-Najm (The Star)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
7 ayahs
هَٰذَا نَذِيرٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلْأُولَىٰٓ
This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners.
أَزِفَتِ ٱلْءَازِفَةُ
The Approaching Day has approached.
لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ
Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover.
أَفَمِنْ هَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ
Then at this statement do you wonder?
وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبْكُونَ
And you laugh and do not weep
وَأَنتُمْ سَٰمِدُونَ
While you are proudly sporting?
۩ Sajdah
فَٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ ۩
So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him].
