Sahih al-Bukhari #2612
Conditions
We used to work on the fields more than the other Ansar, and we used to rent the land (for the yield of
a specific portion of it). But sometimes that portion or the rest of the land did not give any yield, so we
were forbidden (by the Prophet (ﷺ) ) to follow such a system, but we were allowed to rent the land for
money.

سُورَةُ الزُّمَرِ
Az-Zumar (The Groups)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
قَدْ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.
سُورَةُ المُدَّثِّرِ
Al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
2 ayahs
وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
And we used to deny the Day of Recompense
وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ ٱلْمِسْكِينَ
Nor did we used to feed the poor.
سُورَةُ قٓ
Qaaf (The letter Qaaf)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
رِّزْقًۭا لِّلْعِبَادِ ۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةًۭ مَّيْتًۭا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخُرُوجُ
As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection.
سُورَةُ القَصَصِ
Al-Qasas (The Stories)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِن نَّتَّبِعِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ مَعَكَ نُتَخَطَّفْ مِنْ أَرْضِنَآ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّهُمْ حَرَمًا ءَامِنًۭا يُجْبَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ ثَمَرَٰتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ رِّزْقًۭا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
And they say, "If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be swept from our land." Have we not established for them a safe sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know.
